We're
thankful to Newtown Congregational Church for letting us meet at their beautiful property for our worship gathering,
nursery for infants and Sunday School for Children too (click link below for map and directions).
What You Can Expect When
You Visit:
Graceful Greeters:
You'll be greeted by some friendly people who will give you a Welcome Card when you walk through the doors to the building
and answer any questions you may have regarding our time together.
Child-Safe Nursery and Children's Sunday School: Nursery-aged children
can be brought to our nursery before the service begins. They will enjoy story-telling, games, and a treat
with our child-safe nursery worker(s), allowing you to enjoy the service without worrying about your child
crying or needing to be changed-as diapers are provided in the nursery too. Older children join their parents for
the music before the message and then are sent off to their age-appropriate Sunday School classes (unless parents want them
to remain with them in the sanctuary).
Uplifting Music: We have some gifted musicians who lead us in song.
Powerful Prayer: We have a time of prayer during our service and always welcome any particular prayer request(s) you may have
on Sunday or during the week (click on "Prayer Requests" on the menu to the left of this screen for more information
on requesting prayer and offering praise to God).
Meaningful Messages: Adults remain in the sanctuary where they
will hear a message relevant to their lives based on the timeless truths of God's Word.
An Hour "Or So" Later: We usually end
our worship gathering by 6:15pm (sometimes a little earlier, and sometimes a little bit later) at which time the children's
Sunday School also ends. Yet, you are welcome to hang out, enjoying conversation with others and perhaps joining
some others for dinner afterwards.
