Baptismal Ceremony on August 22, 2010 at 5:00pm
It's that time again when we celebrate new life in Christ with those who are receiving salvation
through our Savior (Luke 15:1-7, 2 Corinthians 5:17). A Baptismal Class will be taught to all candidates as arranged by Pastor
Jim.
Believers are baptized as an integral, crucial, and extremely
significant part of their salvation, for it is not only commanded by Christ (Matthew 28:19-20), but was demonstrated
by Him as an example to us in "fulfilling all righteousness" (in other words, in "doing everything that is right to do"),
as seen in Matthew 3:15. If you're ready to "take the plunge," please call Pastor Jim soon at 203-770-3745 so that he can
help you prepare for your Special Day in Christ Jesus!
On that day, we will gather for this awe-inspiring occasion at a private
home in Newtown with a beautiful view of God's creation, followed by a celebration with food and fellowship for the entire
church family as well as other friends who will join us. We look forward to seeing you then!
