Thursday Evenings at 7:00pm in Newtown: A
Small Group for women, currently enjoying a book discussion of Prayer that Works by Jill Briscoe, in addition to enjoying
fellowship and prayer together, meets at the home of Sue Story. We are excited about all that is transpiring through
this group of women! Call Sue at 201-874-9053 for more information.
Fridays at 1:30pm in Southbury:
A new small group (as of February 10, 2012) is meeting at the home of Janet Varza in Southbury. Call Sonya Swatsley, Small
Group Leader, at 860-485-0451 if you'd like to visit or join this exciting group.
As always, special women's events are still being planned
throughout the year and you can get in on it all. Just call Sue Story, our Women's Ministry Coordinator, at 1-201-874-9053 if you'd like to join us for
future events!
MEN:
Pastor Jim continues his teaching and praying through the Word
of God (currently studying the Book of Job) at 7:00pm every Wednesday. Contact pastor@newhope-cc.com if you'd like to join us for this "Hour of Power" through which we grow in becoming the men Christ created
us to be.
YOUTH
Our Youth Group is "back in action"
at the home of Valorie and Kevin Delp in Newtown on Wednesday evenings! Please click on the icon for "Youth Ministry"
on the menu bar of this website for more information and come join the fun!
ALL (Adults and Children) On the second
Sunday of each month, the day on which we celebrate The Lord's Supper/Communion, we enjoy our "Second Sunday
Supper," an extended time of fellowship over food, afterwards. Adults and children are welcomed to join
us as we enjoy this extended time of Communion (oneness in Spirit with God and one another) in the form
of a "pot-luck" supper, following our Worship Gathering. Contact Jim at pastor@newhope-cc.com if you'd like to join us and/or help us prepare for these meaningful times together!
Request a CHURCH DIRECTORY by
emailing anne@newhope-cc.com in order to better keep in touch with your church family.
May God bless you as you bless others (Hebrews 10:24-25)!
